Experience the ultimate Himalayan adventure: a trek to Everest Base Camp followed by the ascent of Lobuche East Peak (6,119 m), a classic 6,000-meter climb ideal for those stepping into the world of mountaineering. Over 17 days, you’ll travel through the heart of the Khumbu Valley, learn essential alpine skills, and climb under the guidance of elite Sherpa mountaineers. This expedition also offers a unique opportunity to share an important moment with Xavier Ladouceur, who will complete this climb as his final preparation before departing for his Everest expedition. It’s a meaningful chance to be part of a significant milestone in his journey towards the highest peak on Earth, and an unforgettable way to experience the Himalayas alongside a team driven by passion and purpose.

Itinerary: 

Day 1 – Arrival in Kathmandu
Land in Nepal’s capital. Airport pickup and transfer to your hotel. Meet the group and local guides for a welcome briefing.

​

Day 2 – Preparation Day
Enjoy a relaxed day in Kathmandu: final gear check, last-minute shopping and a welcome dinner with the team.

​

Day 3 – Flight to Lukla, Trek to Phakding (2,610m)
Take a scenic flight to Lukla (2,846m), then begin the trek through the Dudh Kosi Valley to the village of Phakding.

​

Day 4 – Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)
Cross suspension bridges and ascend through pine forest to Namche, the vibrant heart of the Khumbu region.

​

Day 5 – Acclimatization Day in Namche
Take a short hike to Everest View Hotel (3,800m) for tea and stunning panoramas.

​

Day 6 – Trek to Debuche (3,700m)
Trek via Tengboche Monastery - one of the most iconic spiritual landmarks in the region -then descend to the quiet village of Debuche.

​

Day 7 – Trek to Dingboche (4,410m)
Follow the Imja River through alpine meadows and yak pastures as you gain elevation and head toward Dingboche.

​

Day 8 – Rest Day in Dingboche
An important acclimatization day. Enjoy a light hike and take in the breathtaking views of Ama Dablam.

​

Day 9 – Trek to Lobuche (4,940m)
Pass the Everest Memorial and climb gently into the high alpine zone as you approach Lobuche.

​

Day 10 – Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,364m)
Trek through glacial moraine to Gorakshep, then continue on to Everest Base Camp and spend the night there

​

Day 11 – Hike to Kala Patthar (5,545m) & Trek to Lobuche

Begin the day with a sunrise hike to Kala Patthar, offering one of the best panoramic views of Everest. After soaking in the scenery, descend and trek back to Lobuche.

​

Day 12 – Climb to Lobuche High Camp (5,400m)

Leave Lobuche to make your way towards High Camp. The terrain becomes steeper and more rugged as you approach camp. In the afternoon, the Sherpa team will provide a technical skills training and prepare the equipment for summit day.

​

Day 13 – Summit Lobuche East Peak (6,119m) & Descend to Pheriche (4,240m)

Start at midnight for your summit push. Climb gradually across the glacier, using fixed lines and mountaineering gear under the guidance of expert Sherpas. Reach the 6,119m summit with breathtaking views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam. After celebrating, descend to High Camp and continue down to Pheriche.

​

Day 14 – Trek to Namche Bazaar

Follow the valley toward Pangboche and all the way to Namche Bazaar. 

​

Day 15 – Trek to Lukla

Complete your final trekking day trekking back to Lukla. Celebrate the end of your Himalayan journey with the team.

​

Day 16 – Fly Back to Kathmandu

Catch an early morning flight from Lukla. Transfer to your hotel and enjoy a well-deserved rest.

​

Day 17 – Extra Day for Weather

Reserve day in case of bad weather in Lukla or spend a casual day in Kathmandu visiting the city.

​

Day 18 – Final Departure

Transfer to the airport for your international departure.
